VPF Features

The VPF provides an economical traffic exchange environment where participants can directly connect to each other, avoiding the public Internet, public telephone networks and any unnecessary delays or relays. Since launch of the service, VPF continues to add features and expands to more locations.

Compare the different options for voice interconnection. As illustrated, VPF provides a seamless way to interconnect with many networks while providing a high-level of quality and security.

More importantly, with each new service provider member joining the VPF, it represents the addition of new services, new network reach and potentially more reachable users through the VPF ENUM and SRV Registries.

VPF ASP Market

Accessing telco database & gateway services are no longer restricted to the legacy SS7 and TDM world. Now through the VPF, companies have an alternative cost-effective way of interfacing with traditional telco databases and gain access to new applications, all over IP!

VPF Minutes Market

With complete transparency, members of the VPF buy, sell and trade voice origination (DID) and termination services among one another directly. Easily build multiple SIP and H.323 trunks with your partner(s) of choice without touching the PSTN and the public Internet.

VPF ENUM and SRV Registry

The VPF ENUM and SRV Registries represent the world's first multi-lateral voice peering system. Initially introduced in 2004, the VPF ENUM Registry and SRV Registry enables members to route calls, in a toll-bypass fashion, among one another across the VPF without interfacing with the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). The registries remain unique in the world in that they remain completely free of charges.
